Bathing in Sunlight in Bath, England

The past few days I have been travelling in southern England, and I had the chance to visit Bath for an afternoon.

Bath is a lovely, leafy city whose honey coloured terraced housing and open parks reminded me somewhat of Edinburgh. Bath’s focal point are the beautiful Roman Baths; which in Roman Britain was a place for the Romans to bathe and heal. The minty water is delightfully warm and the view of Bath Abbey from the top balcony is quite something. It was a lovely moment to be able to sit in the sunshine on the same stone seats at the edge of the baths on which the Romans had sat a few thousand years ago.

My next post will be about my adventures on the incredible coast of Dorset – stayΒ tuned!
